STORY OF AN ARTIST

Native to Albuquerque New Mexico, Jeffrey D. Drake is a self-taught artist adopted and born into the amazing world of imagination and creativity. 

Having attended the Creative Media Institute at New Mexico State University, Drake graduated with a B.A. in Digital Film and Animation. He dabbled for many years in the film industry. This only helped confirm his true love and passion for fine art, coming full circle back to his original talent and God given gift.

Since then, he has immersed himself in his work and individual form of expression. This can only be described as "painting freely." He strives to evoke emotion, recognition, discussion, and wants to share light and color in the most unconventional way.
